The city has a long term vision plan to develop over 1,000ha of shallow coral reef areas as tourism and commercial hub of the province by reclaiming the land. The reclamation will also connect fast growing 2 adjacent cities to bridge their city functions. The initial land use feasibility study follows the bathmetery of the site to allow waterways and provides clusters of land zones for logistics, residential, commercial, mixed use and tourism use.
