Hospitality Development Advisory/ Master Planning/ Destination Design
Sam Kim is the Founder and CEO of DESIGN FEVER39, a specialist hospitality development consultancy providing strategic hospitality development consulting, resort master planning, and destination development services across the Asia-Pacific region. With more than 25 years of international experience, Sam has advised developers, investors, hotel brands, and government agencies on luxury resorts, mixed-use hospitality destinations, golf communities, waterfront developments, island resorts, and large-scale tourism projects. His expertise combines development strategy, feasibility analysis, master planning, and destination design to create commercially successful, environmentally responsible, and memorable hospitality destinations.
Before founding DESIGN FEVER39, Sam held senior positions with AECOM (formerly EDAW), WATG, and Belt Collins Hawaii. As Director of Tourism & Hospitality and Director of Master Planning at AECOM Singapore, he led multidisciplinary teams on major hospitality and tourism developments throughout Asia. Sam earned a Master of Landscape Architecture from Cornell University, specializing in Hospitality Planning and Urban Planning, and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Utah State University, USA.

Mr. Buyco has over 23 years of extensive landscape design experience having practiced in the Philippines, UAE and Singapore with highly established firms such as EDAW|AECOM, ACL Asia and Belt Collins. Ian believes in sustainable and meaningful design that works with the local context and the grain of the land as opposed to imposing upon the site. This approach creates a responsive and integrated development that allows for creativity and ensures project viability. Having been trained and influenced by some of the most prominent landscape design firms, his aim is to infuse his own brand of artistry with the same level of dedication and excellence for the next generation of developments around the world.
SUVIT VARANYAPORN
Design Director
Architecture & Interior Design
Mr. Varanyaporn brings over 35 years of extensive architecture and interior design experience from major design firms such as Banyan Tree Hotels and Space Architects Thailand. Suvit has designed and managed several major Banyan Tree and Angsana Resort projects in Vietnam, China, UAE and India as project architect and senior project manager. He has also designed several other major hotels & resorts, residential villas, condominium and commercial retail projects with other major architectural firms in Thailand. As an architectural design leader, he leads architectural design projects across South East Asia. Suvit has expertise in luxury resort design.
JARON KETNON

Spa Design & Interior Design
Mr. Ketnon is a native Thai and has over 28 years of interior design experience from international design firms such as HBA and also international luxury hotel brands such as Shangri-La and Banyan Tree Resorts and Hotels in Bangkok, Thailand. Mr. Ketnon brings unique spa design experience while working at Banyan Tree Resorts where he served as senior interior manager. He designed and managed a number of Banyan Tree Resorts Spa projects in South East Asian countries including India.

Senior Design & Technical Advisor
Hotel Architecture and Interior Design
Mr. Tey is a licensed architect in State of New York in USA and a veteran hospitality architect with over 35 years of experience in US and Malaysia. Mr. Tey has been involved in a number of hotel and resort projects as technical design director from concept design to pre-opening stage with major operator and developers. As a technical advisor, Mr. Tey will review company’s hospitality architecture and interior design projects from concept stages and onward. Registered Architect, State of New York, USA

TERRY MEGALOS
Artist + Creative Writer
Mr. Megalos is an artist, musician and writer of Greek descent. He has been involved in the graphic design industry as a creative designer and writer in the past decade leading various strategic writing and content development projects as consultant. He has joined Design Fever39 as an graphic artist and creative writer to help in the firm's creative approaches concerning the thematic destination development in design and planning. Terry studied Physics and Music in the University of Manchester, UK.
